Snaefellsnes Peninsula

This peninsula is second to the Golden Circle for visitors off the main path of the Ring Road. The name translates to Snow Mounts Peninsula, as the very end of the peninsula holds the very snowy Snaefellsjokull, and Snaefellsjokull National Park. The peninsula is only a several hour drive from Reykjavik but has at least a full days worth of activities and sights to see. We visited 7 main attractions (see links).
