Kirkjufellsfoss

Compared to many waterfalls in Iceland, Kirkjufellsfoss is not very big but with the backdrop of Mt. Kirkjufoss, this is one of the most popular spots in Iceland. Kirkjufoss is the most photographed mountain in Iceland and so the waterfall is usually in the foreground. Kirkjufell means Church Mountain as it resembles a church.
