This getaway takes you up to the Canadian border for a semi remote setting situated between Semiahmoo Bay and Drayton Harbor. The scenery is excellent of water on both sides, mountains and even the cityscape of White Rock, B.C. Indoor resort activities include a restaurant, sports courts, heated pool, spa/sauna area, fitness center, library and a theater. Outdoor actives include bike riding, paddleboarding, beach walking, fire pits, yard games, tennis and pickleball courts and a nearby major golf course. Free bikes are available to ride. The resort also hosts weddings and has meeting and event rooms, so the hotel can get full. On weekends, a passenger ferry shuttles people over to Blaine for about 5 bucks. In Blaine, there is some good sightseeing opportunities, including the downtown area and walking over to the Peace Arch.
