Krell Hill and Tower Mountain

If you are looking for more than the viewpoint at the Rocks of Sharon, continue up to Krell Hill. There is a short drop to a saddle but then two trail options go to the top. The views up higher are around but often obstructed by trees or tower cables. When the trail hits the top, there are a few rock knobs that seem like the highest point even though the topo map says otherwise. Social trails wrap around most of the communication tower fence lines. Which point is higher seems debatable to me. There is also a ridge route on private property to Tower Mountain, a nice walk but up on Tower Mountain you have to get into the summit fence to partake of the very nice summit view. People go here all the time but it officially is private property and you are likely being watched by cameras.
