Rocks of Sharon at Dishman Hills

This is a popular hiking area just south of Spokane that leads to some big rocks with some big views. The distance is really short so you can plan on just a few hours to see everything. Some higher roaming is available above the rocks but the views do not become much better. There is a nice loop above the rocks that takes you to the Krell Hill towers. Most just stick around the rocks taking pictures and watching climbers on Big Rock, a multi pitch rock climbing area, one of the few in the region.

There are a few trailheads. I took the south approach hoping for the least amount of snow with the southern exposure. Parked at the Stevens Creek Trailhead 2.1 miles up the South Stevens Creek Road, off the East Palouse Highway.
