Hiking Distance: Drive-up
Prominence: 2,468 feet

Although Mount Greylock is low in elevation, it towers over the nearby towns and its prominence is visible from all over the region. The summit hosts many facilities like the Bascom Lodge, which offers lodging, meals, and restroom facilities. The summit tower is a war memorial and when open, you can go up for the best views. There is a small parking fee on top unless you want to hike up one of many trails that reach the summit. The unique boreal forests across Greylock are protected ecosystems within the park. In winter, the road to the summit is closed but winter activities like snowshoeing and skiing are popular on the mountain.
