Lavender Farm - San Juan Island

The best time to see the fields at the peak of purpleness is July and August. But, there are other things to do at the farm from May to October. The lavender fields are open daily with free admission to the farm. There is easy parking, restrooms and picnic facilities available. You can even visit after hours if you just want to walk through the fields. At the Gatehouse Farm Store you can look at over 200 lavender products. The Demonstration Garden shows how they cultivate over 50 different varieties of lavender.
