Mount Hight, New Hampshire
WillhiteWeb.com
Located between Carter Dome and South Carter Mountain is Mount Hight. It is not very impressivebut it does project out from the ridgeline and is by far the best viewpoint on the entire Wildcat and Carter Mountain ridgeline. I arrived here late in the day and decided to set up camp early, like 2 hours before sunset (rare for me). A flat dirt patch that was dry and somewhat protected from the wind worked out perfectly. Knowing I would not be this high for many days to come, I wanted to enjoy this last evening above the tree line, with an incredible view of the Presidential Range. Sunset and sunrise were amazing, as you can see in the pictures.
