This 110 foot tall tower was formerly known as the Dauphin Water Gap Tower. It was built in the 1940s as a tourist attraction at a nearby restaurant on the other side of the Susquehanna River. Due to highway construction on routes 322/22, the tower was going to be demolished. The Old Sled Works owner decided to save the Fire Lookout Tower and have it disassembled and moved to its new location in Duncannon on the Old Sled Works property. Apparently, when open, you can pay a small admission fee and go up the tower.
View of the tower as I was in town, not hard to miss.
