Joemma Beach State Park
Getting to the point, Joemma Beach State Park has little to offer other than the only boat launch on Key Peninsula with vehicle parking. The campground is not very good and the amenities are pretty skimpy. On the other hand, the 19 primitive tent sites are more likely available and quiet, lacking RV generators. The hiking trail is boring and was definitely overgrowing during my visit. Even the picnic areas seemed kind of sad to me. There is a nice pier and boat dock, probably the best thing in the park. In the end, the park is no destination park but a utilitarian park for those boating, a quiet beach or those looking for a basic camping spot.
