Drive down the Key Peninsula on the Key Peninsula Highway. Turn west onto Jackson Lake Road NW. Just after passing the turnoff to the Jackson Lake parking lot, there is an unsigned trail on the right into the forest. There is parking on the side of the road just a bit further down the road from the trail start.

Haley State Park
This undeveloped State Park has a 1.5-mile hiking trail that leads to a remote beach on Case Inlet. No other improvements existed (as of 2021) other than a few state park signs along the trail. The property was acquired in several phases between 1978 and 1982. The Haley family of the Brown and Haley candy company used to own the land. The trail starts out in an old cut area full of towering brush but soon enters a nice second growth forest. Just past the midway point, the trail starts dropping down a scenic ravine which ends at Haleys Lagoon. The beach is quiet and spans between the Lagoon and Case Inlet. A few nearby homes kind of ruin the remoteness of the area but overall, the experience is quite nice for a beach in such a developed region.
