Boulder Benchmark - Glacier Peak Wilderness
Located on the boundary line of the Glacier Peak Wilderness, Boulder Benchmark is considered the highpoint of Huckleberry Mountain. Less that a mile away, down the ridge is the former site of the Huckleberry Ridge fire lookout. Boulder offers sweeping views without any technical climbing or hard scrambling. A touch of route finding is needed but not too difficult. Trails get close but do not go to the summit. You can access via the long Huckleberry Ridge Trail, climbing out of the Suiattle, or the Tenas Creek Trail which goes to Boulder Lake.
