Rhode Island Highpoint - Jerimoth Hill
WillhiteWeb.com
At one time, this highpoint was one of the hardest to reach due to private property issues. Thankfully, today the property is owned by the state and access is simple. Park your car alongside the road and just stroll a few minutes to the highpoint, a boring rock in the forest. There are three benchmarks in the area but none of them are the highest point. Then name Jerimoth Hill is derived from Jerimoth, a biblical name and a Hebrew word meaning "elevation".
Elevation: 812 feet
Hiking Distance: Under 5 minutes
