Niagara Falls State Park, New York

Niagara Falls State Park offers some pretty incredible scenery along with lots of attractions, interactive exhibits, hiking trails, and tours. You could spend a few hours at the falls or a few days seeing everything the area offers. There is plenty of paid parking or you can walk to the falls from the town. Most of the viewpoints are free. Cave of the Winds is a paid location that takes you by elevator to some boardwalks below the falls. But beware, there is no cave, and it is not worth the price if all the boardwalks are not open for visitors. For best views, the Canadian side is better but for feeling the raw power of the falls, the American side is best. We were there during the off season so the Maid of the Mist boat service was not running.
