There is nothing redeeming about this mountain except that it had a fire lookout. Honey only rises 40 feet above the road at the saddle between Honey Mountain and Prospect Peak. An old spur road goes almost to the summit. With snow on top, I do not know if any remnants remain.
Lookout History:
In 1940, there was an L-4 cab.
In 1961 it was gone.
