Sand Creek Lookout Site

Sand Creek Mountain is the mountain on the west side of Sullivan Lake. Somewhere on the many bumps was the Sand Creek Lookout Site. The location needs to be confirmed. It is very possible that the location is on the lower bumps to the west. The Kresek Lookout Inventory has no elevation given. Recent Forest Service maps do label the western lower bumps. Footings likely remain.

In 1937, a 30-foot wooden tower with L-4 cab was built.
