Prouty Peak Lookout Site & Patrol Point on Green Mountain
In 1930 a 40-foot pole tower with a L-4 cab was built. There was also a tent cabin and patrol tower a half mile northeast.
In 1933, Jimmie Monroe was struck by lightning here.
In 1935, after the fire season, the legs were sawn off and the tower was pushed over the cliff.
