Nooksack Lookout Site (Bowman Lookout)

In 1949, a 80 foot pole tower with L-6 cab was built here. There was a separate sleeping quarters below. In 1957, a DNR carpentry crew trimmed the height to 50 feet and a 9x9 foot cab was placed on top.
Around 1968 the tower and ground cabin were destroyed.
