Kresek has as a patrol point of Mill Creek Point. Mill Creek was used around 1937 to 1950, so we can assume that Galena Point was used sometime in that period.

A spur road will take you all the way to the summit. Chances are this road will be closed in time, it has washout potential. The summit has been logged and any signs of a patrol point were not found.
