In 1933, there was a crow’s nest.
In 1936, a 40-foot pole tower with an L-4 cab was built. The lookout this year was Willard Enyeart, who has previously been employed by the Forest Service in this district. He came from his home in Metaline Falls to be stationed at LeClerc Creek Lookout. In early July, he was able to spend a day at his home because the heavy rains in the region that week. In late July, the W. D. Sutton family spent an afternoon at the lookout with Willard and Mrs. Enyears who was also visiting.
