Chewelah Ski Area
Located on Forest Service land, there is no gate from the north off NF-5015. The road is in fair shape to the saddle north of the peak. I parked there and hiked up the north ridge of Cooks Mountain. There was no brush to contend with, and a minor game trail exists. The footings were on the very top.
