Said to have been built in 1923, a 12x12 foot frame cab, but this might be an error. There was a mis-labeled image in the Washington lookout museum and websites for this location. The image actually shows Black Rock Lookout in Oregon, a 12x12 foot cab built in 1923. But, there was a Black Lookout shown on a 1925 metsker map, so something did exist at this location. If you do go to the tree covered summit, be sure to go east of the summit 150 feet for a full view. More to come after my visit.

Gate open August 1st to August 31st for bear hunting season. Other than this, you can hike the roads or possibly some horse trails to near the summit.
