Bannock Mountain Lookout Site

A L-4 cab was constructed on Bannock in the 1930s. It was later abandoned. I have found it only on a 1955 Forest Service map. No trail exists from Canyon Lake so it seems strange construction materials got to the site. Nobody has ever shown me remains from the cab, a search near or on the summit needs to be made when the snow is all melted. This is still one of the most remote sites for a lookout in Washington. More to come in the future.
