Note:
The Wildcat Benchmark (Wildcat B) was down the ridge further next to the resort gondola. When placed in 1959, they described it as just northeast of the gondola and concession stand and observation tower on land of the White Mountain National Forest but leased by the Wildcat Corporation.
This site was used by the Carter Dome watchman as an alternate site closer to cabin than Carter Dome. Based on the image we have and how it looks today, this site is forested over.
