Snow and Jem Lakes

This is where new hikers go. Snow and Gem Lakes are accessible from a trail out of the Alpental Ski area at Snoqualmie Pass. Beginning hikers will hit Snow lake and be content exploring its shores. Those with a bit more determination will continue on the trail as it skirts around Snow Lake, then climbs up to Gem Lake which has a more remote feel to it. Both are great destinations but just go knowing you will have lots of company.
