Caroline Peak

Hiking the popular Snow Lake Trail out of Alpental ski area, you hit Snow Lake, Jem Lake and the Wildcat Lakes. But if you want to go even further, a scramble up Caroline Peak is possible from the end of the trail at Lower Wildcat Lake. Along the scramble is Lake Caroline, which probably has a scramble trail to it by now. I did this trip in year 2000 so the details are a bit faded. The map below is the general route we took. Some say the trail stops at Lower Wildcat Lake although I seem to remember some kind of trail to Upper Wildcat Lake.
