This is a surprisingly fun game that every kid seems to enjoy. A Bocce Ball set is generally inexpensive and can be found in most stores that sell a selection of sporting goods.

I have put the instructions below but basically, you have a line. You throw the target ball out in the grass, then, each player throws 2 balls out toward the target hoping to get as close to the target as possible. If you hit the target, you get 2 points. Players play in teams of two. The team who gets closest to the target wins that round and as many of their balls that are between the target and the closest ball of the other team to the target, those are points for the winning team. Play to whatever score you want.
