Lake Union Boat Cruise

There are several different cruise companies that offer boat cruises in Lake Union. These are not as fun as taking a tour out into Puget Sound but they are still just as easy to reach if you are downtown. During the day, a good tour is a 2 hour locks tour which goes through the Ballard Locks connecting the lakes to the salt water of Puget Sound. This tour will give you views of Seattle from both Lake Union and Elliott Bay. Another option is a sunset cruise. Below I made a map showing where most of the 2 hour dinner cruises go, they usually skip the locks. The boats usually have dinner and have a separate level with a DJ and bar. I have done a few of these with work while in the winter. Once it was raining pretty good and the other time it was super cold. So basically I did not get many pictures of anything but Seattle but the ship canal is somewhat interesting if you were out on the deck.
