Edgewood Community Park

This is a long awaited park is right along Meridian Ave. at the south end of the city. The theme of the park takes in the history of the area with a barn and farming equipment in the playground. Possible future additions will add more to this large park as most of it remains undeveloped. The undeveloped area is part of the 0.7 mile walking trail. Given the walking trail is in open space with no trees, this is a nice place to soak in the sun if it is out. Amenities include the playground, a grassy amphitheater, walking trails, restroom and a picnic shelter.
