This is an easy low elevation hike with open views most of the route. The location of Davis Knolls is in the flats of Skull Valley at the edge of the Dugway Proving Grounds. It will be one of the first bumps to melt out for winter hiking.

Access:

Get onto South Hatch Ranch Road running between Highway 199 to the north and the Pony Express Road to the south. Use the map provided to see the small spur road I took to get to the base. There are many other routes possible.
