Infinity Park
One of the smallest parks in Tehaleh is Infinity Park located in the Glacier Pointe Neighborhood. Although small, it has a few surprises like a Mt. Rainier view and a unique climbing play structure. I am not quite sure what it is and until my kid can play on it, I do not know what to think of it. It could be a real hit. In addition to the play structure, there are picnic tables, benches for parents watching kids and some viewing benches on the hillside edge. The viewing benches overlook a large stormwater retaining pond. A nice wide gravel trail drops from the park to the pond. There is a wide paved trail around the pond. I would include the pond area as part of the park since most kids would enjoy a walk down and around the pond to see what they can see. The open space is nice and some kind of wildlife will likely be enjoying the pond too. Parking for the park might be best as well down at the pond as there is limited parking up near the park among the houses. The park was designed for the local neighborhood, not visitors coming from afar.
After a heavy rain the pond is pretty dirty.
Shot as the first house was going in.
No view of Mt. Rainier this day.
Aerial view before all the homes were built.
