This park located near Port Orchard was a Washington State Park until 2020 when it was transferred to Kitsap County for ownership. There are picnic tables, a restroom, fishing spots, hiking and a small boat launch for kayaks and canoes. The trail system is small but nice. There is a good loop that follows the lakeside for a good ways. No loop goes around the lake. A larger loop exists if you have the skills to spot it but it is not maintained. The lake covers over 7 acres of surface area and is home to largemouth bass, bluegill, bullhead catfish, and yellow perch. It also attracts waterfowl and other wildlife. The lake is not good for swimming and signs suggest you will get swimmers itch if you do.
