HOME
Anderson Point County Park offers a scenic saltwater beach great for beach walking and picnics without a crowd. Reaching the beach requires a hike of ¾ mile down a scenic roadway. Although this requires quite a bit of effort on the return, it does make the 2,000 feet of beach a more unique destination. Views are excellent of Colvos Passage and Vashon Island.

History
In the early 1870s, the Anderson Family homesteaded on the property. The Mosquito Fleet, an early ferry boat system that transported passengers and freight between 40 different ports in Kitsap County also made regular stops at Anderson Point. In recent years this park was closed for nearly five years due to landslide concerns and disputes over public access.
