Post Falls Community Forest
WillhiteWeb.com
Located within walking distance of downtown Post Falls, the Post Falls Community Forest has 10 miles of hiking trails, 23 rock climbing walls, river beaches with swimming holes and high mountain panoramic views. Several loop trips are possible with an upper and a lower trailhead. The lower is in Qemiln Park down on the Spokane River. This access is best for walks along the Spokane River and the rocky cliffs that rock climbers are climbing on. The upper trailhead is best for views. Note that almost all trails from the upper lot are going to drop down and you will be hiking back up to the car, unless you can arrange a shuttle of some kind. A fire in August 2023 opened some huge views in the middle section of the park.
