Whistler Creek Peak

Hwy. 410 Trips
This highpoint has very little to offer but I will try. There is no brush, the trees make for a nice forested walk and the hike is very short. There is also a cool rock at the summit that is split in half. This is a good one to combine with many of the other numerous peaks accessed by the Whistler Creek Road.
Access and Route:
Just past Greenwater on Highway 410, take FR 70 to FR 7030 (Whistler Creek Road). Once at the junction on the ridgetop, just go left and follow the map. The final ridge road to the start of the route was overgrowing rapidly. Unless maintained, this road will ultimately become a trail route and make access much longer. For now 2025, if you are willing to scrape your car, you can drive it to the end and park. From there, hike on ridge into the large forest and follow the ridgeline to the summit. It appears the summit once was a bald and had views but those days are gone.
