Montmorency Falls Park
Just 15 minutes from town is Montmorency Falls Park, a perfect afternoon excursion. There are walking trails that encircle the waterfall taking in every vantage point. There is also a cable car ride that allows you to only have to go down the stairs instead of a long climb up. The waterfall drops 83 metres (272 feet) toward the St. Lawrence River. The suspension bridge across the top is particularly exciting for some visitors. Personally I thought the staircase was an amazing site. For more adventure, there is a double zipline. In winter, the spray from the falls creates a huge cone of ice called the sugarloaf, which often grows to more than 30 metres high.
