This homecourt peak has the unofficial name of Paperboy. The elevation and prominence put this peak on the list that otherwise might be ignored by nearly everyone. My weather was bad and I only took the 4 pictures below.
Route:
Take the Middle Fork Snoqualmie River Road to the Taylor River Bridge, just past the Middle Fork Campground and Garfield Ledges Trail.
Start up the Taylor River Trail to a Y intersection. Take a left on the Quartz Creek trail, an old road, following to its end on most map. There are washouts along the way that slow travel. At around 3,000 feet, you leave the road and bushwhack up to a boulder field. Pick a good track on peakbagger and use it. It has been 20 years and I am finally getting around to making a trip report so I do not remember the exact route. Many make navigational errors on this route and one climber is still up there missing.
