Windjammer Park - Oak Harbor

Windjammer Park or City Beach to the locals, is the main community park in Oak Harbor. Its easily located along the harbor in the downtown area. Windjammer Park has several attractions like the swimming lagoon, a full size windmill, wading pools and numerous playgrounds, for tots and kids. The Oak Harbor Waterfront Trail passes through the park if you want to bring the kids bikes. There are rentable kitchens, and a gazebo for gatherings. Along the shore you find wind sheltered picnic tables with barbecue pits. Windjammer has three Little League baseball fields, two basketball courts, an exercise course, volleyball and a boat launch. You can also find an RV park with 56 serviced sites and 30 non-serviced sites. So park the RV, play in the park, and stock up at the grocery store within walking distance from the campground.
