The Fox Island Boat Launch makes for a good starting point for an excursion into Carr Inlet or around Fox Island. This page has images from a paddle to Cutts Island State Park in Carr Inlet. Along the way you can stop at Kopachuck State Park. We had calm waters on the way there but afternoon winds kicked up for our return, which I would guess is common. The shores were mostly lined with homes although a few bluff sections had secluded beaches.
