Suiattle Ridge Lookout Site

Suiattle Ridge was listed as # 47 in the book “Lookouts: Firewatchers of the Cascades and Olympics”. The only description given said “Nothing known about this location”. Given that description and that I have not come across anything known as Suiattle Ridge, it is an unlikely location. I’m leaving it on my list for now to prevent others asking about it or on the off chance someone knows something and can share info with me.

I have often thought that maybe Suiattle Ridge was the name for the possible lookout site on Sulphur Mountain but there is no evidence of this, just that Sulphur Mountain is above the Suiattle River and is a bit of a mystery. Another possibility is somewhere near Suiattle Mountain, there is a long ridge to its southeast but there is nothing labeled Suiattle Ridge anywhere. In time, I’ll probably delete this as the Spring/Fish list had so many errors on it.
