Starvation Mountain

Starvation Mountain was listed as # 422 in the book “Lookouts: Firewatchers of the Cascades and Olympics”. The description in the book says, “Ranger said there is evidence that a building was here, but he does not know its purpose”. This site was not on the Kresik Lookout Inventory. In 1953 there was a trail to the summit from the north, called the Cathedral Driveway, an old sheep trail. By 1968 there was a good road to the summit coming from the south and some kind of communication facility on top. If you know anything about this site, please email me.
