Mount Dickinson - Olympic Mountains

Located near O�neil Pass, this summit name is neither on a map nor any document I can find. Yet, clearly it was a name for this point deep in the Olympic Mountains. This site may have been an alternative to Mt. Steel, giving better views into the Quinault River Valley. No official trail goes to the summit but a main park trail wraps around much of the mountain with animal trails in many directions up toward the summit. This was 2 years prior to National Park, when it was called Mt. Olympus National Monument.
