Cougar Rock

Cougar Rock is located in a strategic spot where three ridgelines come together. A road passes just below the rocky summit. The panoramics were taken on July 8, 1941 so they are much later than the original photo teams in the early 1930s. Quite a few peaks are higher in the images and could have contributed to this location not being chosen, although to go back and take the photos years later, it was being considered for something. The panoramics had mountains labeled in ink so they were used at some point.
