Eisenberg Trail - Fan House Loop
This loop can be done right from the main Suncadia Lodge. The loop takes in the most remote sections of the Cle Elum River, passing a historic Fan House, the Fish House, and some very nice picnic areas on the river. The next part of the walk is mostly on trails adjacent to roads as it works past the Nelson Farm Pool. Then the loop is inside the quiet ravine along the Eisenberg Trail. The loop finishes with a final climb on nice trail back up to the lodge.

Distance: 4 mile loop
Take the trail from the north end of the Lodge down to the river and the Eisenberg Trail. The loop starts here, do the best part first, turn left toward the river. In a short distance is the Fish House and another split. Turn left again and drop down to the Cle Elum River. Walk along the river trail, which has several side trails to go out onto the river rocks. Eventually the trail will hit the Fan House (a short side trail drops down to the signs). Past the Fan House there is a road encountered. A short section of (quiet) road must be walked up a long hill to reach the Nelson Farm Loop Trail. This trail heads east passing the Nelson Farm Pool. Follow until you reach the turn-off for the Eisenberg Trail going south toward the lodge. Once on the Eisenberg Trail, you are going through a small canyon directally back to where you started the loop. The long drop down from the lodge must be re-climbed to get back up to the lodge, but it goes pretty fast.
