If you can arrange a pickup, skiing from the lodge down to Patterson Lake is mostly downhill with just a few inclines. This route also takes in the majority of other trails just below the lodge. Given the downhill nature, the trip is a quick few hours at most.
From the lodge, take the Sunnyside Trail for 2.8 miles (mostly downhill). Next take the Lower Fox Loop to the Aqua Loop. After the Aqua Loop, take the Little Wolf Trail to the Chickadee Trailhead area. Drop down Raven to the Cabin Trail. Finish at the Patterson Lake Cabins and the main road. Get a ride back up to the lodge.
