The hub for sports in Sumner is Daffodil Valley Sports Park, located at Washington St. and Graham Ave. Here you will find all the standard sports park amenities which include a baseball field, two youth baseball fields, two soccer fields, to volleyball courts, a basketball court, tennis courts, a jogging trail and a skate park. Other par amenities at Daffodil Valley Sports Park include a concession stand, picnic tables, and a children's play area.

The Daffodil Valley Sports Complex was dedicated in 1998. It's construction was an eight-year community effort that included the donation of time, money and materials from generous businesses, civic groups and people in Dieringer, Lake Tapps, South Prairie, Sumner and Bonney Lake.
