Sequim Sights
Panorama Vista County Park provides beach access with a short walk down a gradual grade to a three-mile stretch of tidelands owned by the Washington State Department of Natural Resources. Due to the walk and out of the way location, there are likely fewer people on this beach. Clallam County Parks Department has maintained this public beach access since 1984. The public beach runs from the end of Travis Spit on Sequim Bay, east across Miller Penensula State Park to the mid-point of Thompson Lagoon where the community of Diamond Point starts. Views are of the Strait of Juan de Fuca, Protection Island, and both Olympic and Cascade Mountains.
