Curlew State Park
Located in northeastern Washington, just 25 miles from the U.S.- Canada border, Curlew Lake is just 5.5 miles long. The lake is popular with fisherman but in summer, water activities are what brings the visitors to the park. The campground offers some nice green lawns with many lakeside campsites. Supplies can be grabbed from the nearby town of Republic, just 8 miles away. For day use, there are ten unsheltered picnic tables in the park, available first come, first served. The swimming area has three braziers for cooking. There are some short hiking trails, an amphitheater and 80 feet of dock for watercraft use.
