Wildwood Park
A heavily shaded park nestled in the thick forests that once dominated Puyallup's South Hill, Wildwood Park is a bit unorthodox. The parks features seem to be designed at preserving the forest while allowing for as much group picnic areas as possible. Since Wildwood Park is located in an densely populated area, it is a nice option to have get together located in a natural setting. Small nature and exercise trails are scattered throughout the park, but none go to far as the park is surrounded by homesites. There are 12 covered picnic shelters, a small playground, a day camp facility, a caretaker's house, and a historic water reservoir located in the forested section. At the edge of Wildwood Park are two youth ballfields which are accessed from a separate location from the wooded picnic areas.
