Lake Meridian Park
Lake Meridian Park is located on the far east hill of Kent near Covington. With this parks prominent location right off Kent Kangley Road, it can get very crowded in the summer. The park has separate entrances depending on your activity. If you need to launch a boat, the boat launch is off 152nd Way SE., a bit to the east of the main park entrance. Lake Meridian Park offers a swimming beach, fishing, a large covered shelter, picnic areas, grassy open space play areas, public art, restrooms, barbecue grills, a kids play area, short walking trails and a concession stand in summer. The restrooms have changing rooms with showers. For more exploring, just off 152nd Way SE near the boat launch is the start of the Soos Creek Trail. Lake Meridian is one of only four lakes in King County allowing motorized boating. Summers offer lifeguards on duty during the day.
